White-bearded Wildebeest

animals_fallowdeerThe White-bearded Wildebeest is a large antelope native to Africa. They have large blocky shoulders that are slightly taller than their more slender hindquarters. The head is large and long with a big muzzle. Bodies are slate gray with faint darker vertical stripes. Bulls can weight 550 pounds. They can be hunted from August to January.
