Whitetail Deer

animals_whitetaildeerA typical whitetail deer hunt is 3 to 4 days of box blind hunting. These hunts are 1 on 1 fully guided.

Our management deer are typically 3 to 4 years old with 8 points, ranging from 90-129 gross B&C. A typical Hill Country Classic is 4 to 5 years of age averaging 130-139 gross B&C. Trophies start at 140 inches B&C. The upper ends for our trophies have been increasing each year due to our habitat and animal management practices. In most cases, trophies are at least 6 years of age.

The majority of the deer are judged and priced by the guides prior to harvest. If a harvested deer is larger than the quoted price, the hunter will only pay the price quoted. However, if the animal happens to be smaller than quoted, and falls into a lower category, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
